Darlene Greene, a Managing Principal and Lead Trainer of Mortgage Training
Concepts, after 3 years of managing a small brokerage, founded her own mortgage
company, Premier Mortgage Source, which offered a broad scope of programs for all
types of residential borrowers. She has been an independent broker in Virginia for
over 9 years.
A native of South Carolina and a graduate of Anderson College and Clemson
University, Darlene has degrees in English, Communications and Journalism. With
over 25 years experience in marketing, business development and operations,
Darlene has worked across several industries, including engineering, healthcare,
business consulting and finance.
Darlene’s diverse professional experience includes marketing and project
management in business to business marketing as well as business to consumer.
Moving from marketing to operations, Darlene transferred her skills to training and
development, becoming certified in program design, delivery and sales for both in
class and web-based training programs. She is a certified trainer for Zenger-Miller,
Kaset International, Professional Selling Skills and Virginia Housing Development
Authority.
As a long-standing advocate of consumer education and industry training, she has
written numerous articles, white papers, e-books and hosts a blog designed to provide
consumers and industry professionals with clear, concise information on financing and
credit issues.

in the residential mortgage banking, title insurance and vendor management
industries.
A former Vice-President of Citigroup's national vendor management subsidiary,
Jennifer has obtained thorough knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA & VA lending
guidelines, all aspects of vendor management startup and operations as well as retail
multi-branch sales and operations. Jennifer has acquired extensive knowledge of
federal and state regulated compliance policies and procedures related to mortgage
banking and title insurance and has authored several manuals that has been used in
live and online courses. She is currently an approved Instructor with the North
Carolina Commissioner of Banks and the South Carolina Department of Consumer
Affairs.
